In order to complete the admissions process, the following items are needed:
General Admission Requirements:
- Completed enrollment application.
- Submit official high school transcript and/or GED scores and transcripts from any previous post-secondary education.
- Provide immunization records (measles, rubella), if born on or after January 1, 1957.
- Take the Compass test, which is
administered in the counseling office. Compass is a reading,
writing, and math assessment. There is a $10 fee due at the time
of testing. Testing is available on a walk-in basis, or you can
make an appointment. Depending on your program of interest, your
test scores will be used to assist us in determining appropriate
course placement.
- * Individuals who
submit copies of Compass, ACT or ASSET test scores taken
within the last 3 years are not required to take Compass.
- * Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology and Truck Driving programs have additional admissions requirements. See the counseling office for details.

Counseling Office
The counseling office exists to serve both new and current students. The following is a list of areas where we can assist you:
- Provide specific information about all of our programs including admissions requirements, application processes, coursework involved, and types of employment available to graduates.
- Vocational/Career counseling for choosing a program that matches your interests and career goals.
- Completing Compass testing. Following the test, the counselor will review your scores with you and make recommendations to assist you in preparing to begin a program.
- Arrange tours of our facility and meetings with program instructors.
- Assist students with disabilities in registering for special services and receiving accommodations.
