Admissions

In order to complete the admissions process, the following items are needed:

General Admission Requirements:

  1. Completed enrollment application.
  2. Submit official high school transcript and/or GED scores and transcripts from any previous post-secondary education.
  3. Provide immunization records (measles, rubella), if born on or after January 1, 1957.
  4. Take the Compass test, which is administered in the counseling office. Compass is a reading, writing, and math assessment. There is a $10 fee due at the time of testing. Testing is available on a walk-in basis, or you can make an appointment. Depending on your program of interest, your test scores will be used to assist us in determining appropriate course placement.
     
    • * Individuals who submit copies of Compass, ACT or ASSET test scores taken within the last 3 years are not required to take Compass.
    • * Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology and Truck Driving programs have additional admissions requirements. See the counseling office for details.
